Rising prominently in Auckland’s Wynyard Quarter, 30 Daldy Street is a premium office building where façade design defines both identity and performance. The sleek combination of glass and metal cladding delivers a contemporary presence to the cityscape, while a distinctive copper shingle ribbon and brick cladding at the ground floor add warmth, texture, and a strong connection to the urban context. Situated next to the harbour, the façade was engineered to withstand the marine environment, ensuring long-term durability and resilience against corrosion, moisture, and salt-laden winds.
Our façade engineering team collaborated closely with the project team to realise the architectural vision using robust, high-performance systems. The façade incorporates unitised glazing, precisely detailed spandrels, subtle vertical fins, and the signature copper shingle ribbon, blending aesthetic refinement with advanced thermal, solar, and acoustic control. This ensures occupant comfort while supporting energy efficiency and long-term operational performance.
