A Façade of Luxury and Precision

The Mondrian Hotel introduces a new standard of luxury hospitality to Auckland, with its striking façade playing a defining role in shaping the guest experience and the city’s evolving skyline. The design expresses sophistication through a carefully composed mix of glazing, cladding, and shading elements, delivering a refined architectural presence that reflects the Mondrian brand’s global identity.
Our façade engineering team worked closely with the architects and developers to translate this vision into a technically robust and buildable solution. The façade integrates high-performance glazing systems with elegant vertical and horizontal elements, optimised to provide thermal comfort, acoustic control, and energy efficiency in Auckland’s coastal environment. Attention was given to solar shading and glare management to ensure guest comfort while maximising natural light and views.
As with all premium hospitality projects, precision and quality were paramount. We engineered the façade to meet stringent seismic and wind performance requirements, while coordinating complex interfaces between the building envelope and interior fit-out. Bespoke detailing, rigorous testing, and quality assurance ensured that the façade delivers both visual refinement and long-term resilience.
