Situated in the heart of Christchurch, the Parakiore Recreation and Sport Centre is a modern recreational hub where façade design defines both identity and performance. Our façade engineering team worked closely with the project team to realise the architectural vision using robust, high-performance systems. The façade is designed to achieve optimal thermal performance and airtightness, providing a comfortable internal environment for visitors while reducing energy consumption and supporting long-term sustainability. Large-format glazing and insulated cladding panels are integrated with carefully sealed joints and connections to minimise heat loss and air infiltration, ensuring both occupant comfort and operational efficiency.
